Hmm. I'm still using 1.2.8, haven't needed to upgrade, so there could be something new that is causing that. Do you use php's register_globals=Off or =On? Try =On just to see if it works that way, however, it works for me with 1.2.8 and =Off. Also, try setting display_errors=On to see if you are getting any warnings/errors when it tries to display that. I'll be upgrading to 1.2.9 (or 10 if the release comes before I get around to upgrading) soon, so I'll be able to tell you... hold on, I actually have it in a test directory, I can just check now... nope, it works for me with 1.2.9, so it's got to be something with your installation.
