Hi Kurt,
Good to hear you have resolved the problem. Having set my HTTP
ServerPort to be hostname:port I have also been able to now reproduce
your error which has been reported to development to look into ...

Hi VOS list,
Hi all, wiki package is working finally!!! It seems i've done
something rather silly in my virtuoso.ini file. I did:
[HTTPServer]
ServerPort = 138.33.12.66:80
when it really should have just been:
[HTTPServer]
ServerPort = 80
to make vir
Hi Kurt,
Yes, a copy of the empty virtuoso.db with just the ODS Framework and
Wiki VAD packages installed to minimize size would be useful as we
can start it on a server here to see the problem hopefully. You can
upload to the following FTP server and let us know when it is their
and the
whoops :-)
here's the proper commands
[root@cognac ~]# hostname
cognac.elec.qmul.ac.uk
[root@cognac ~]# dig +short 'hostname'
;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached
[root@cognac ~]# dig +short -x $(dig +short `hostname`)
[root@cognac ~]#
so actually that really doesn't look good.

As an aside, check your networking setup by doing a double-lookup on
hostname:
# dig +short cognac.elec.qmul.ac.uk
138.37.xx.xx
# dig +short -x $(dig +short cognac.elec.qmul.
Hi Kurt,
This is very strange, can remote access be provided to the new empty
database you created so we can see this problem first hand ? HTTP and/
or SQL port access would suffice ...

Hi Kurt,
Which VOS release and ODS Wiki package are you using as I have just
installed on my VOS 5.0.10 on Mac OS X and having installed the ODS
Framework and Wiki packages and can access the Wiki instance and edit
etc. using my ODS user:

Hi Kurt,
The sequence should be:
(either using ISQL or Conductor)
1. Install the ods_framework_dav.vad package
2. Install the ods_wiki_dav.vad package
3. Go to http://host:port/ods/ and click Sing Up in order to register user
in ODS, for ex. with username kurt
4. When logged in, click the Wiki
Hi List,
Seems this should be easy - maybe i've mucked something up. Using
conductor web interface, i installed the Wiki VAD. That all seemed to
go fine. But now i can't access it:
