Hi Kurt,

This is very strange, can remote access be provided to the new empty database you created so we can see this problem first hand ? HTTP and/ or SQL port access would suffice ...

i killed the server, deleted the db file and started fresh. same error:

Execution of "/wiki/Main/DAVWikiAdmin" failed.

SQL Error: 42WV9 [11002] Path /wiki/Main/DAVWikiAdmin to resource must start from "/wiki/main/"

which is the same error more or less as before

[Hugh] In your virtuoso.ini configuration file what is the value of the
"DefaultHost" param in the "[URIQA]" section as I do believe the
localhost:8890

[URIQA]
DynamicLocal                    = 1
DefaultHost                     = localhost:8890

tried changin this to hostname:80 and got the same old error.

hmmm

when i get to step 4 i get a proxy error. this seems to goto
http://localhost:8890/wiki/.... which firefox doesn't seem to like
("Proxy server refused connection"). as i'm proxying thru my
localhost ssh tunnel to access the virtuoso instance which is only
facing inside uni.

[Hugh] In your virtuoso.ini configuration file what is the value of the
"DefaultHost" param in the "[URIQA]" section as I do believe the
localhost:8890 is being picked up from this setting and you can change this to the value of the external host name being used. Although still that should not account for the error you are experiencing having made the same
setting on my server and still being able to access the Wiki instance

maybe somehow it works at uni - i won't know until next week when i
return.

i've tried changing conductor->Sys Admin-> Packages -> Framework ->
configure to use cognac.qmul.ac.uk instead of localhost but the wiki
links still seem to point to localhost

[Hugh] So you configured a new HTTP listener endpoint to try and setup the
external hostname on ?

should i try uninstalling frameworks and the wiki VAD and starting over?

[Hugh] Is would be useful to see if this error occurs when you start with
an empty database and install the ODS Wiki

Hugh

Hi List,
Seems this should be easy - maybe i've mucked something up. Using
conductor web interface, i installed the Wiki VAD. That all seemed to
go fine. But now i can't access it:
Execution of "/wiki" failed.
SQL Error: 42WV9 [11002] Path /wiki to resource must start from
"/wiki/main/"
or from the ODS
Execution of "/wiki/main/Main" failed.
SQL Error: 42WV9 [11002] Path /wiki/main/Main to resource must start
from "/wiki/main/"
any ideas? am i missing something obvious? couldn't find any
documentation for the wiki VAD...
