Hi, I use Intrepid Ibex with all the latest updates. After the public
release, I updated (safe-upgraded) the linux-image, and found this error
messages and none of my usb ports work. This has happened to my laptop
and desktop as well.
Details:
1) lsb_release -rd
Description:Ubuntu 8.10

The above solution did not work for me! I took my laptop to the service
center and I was told that the USB ports are not receiving enough power.
They (the USB ports) are supposed to be getting 5mA, but they were only
getting 2mA. A lsusb -v showed they are getting only 0mA !!!

this was complete. This "bug" is a non-issue, as there is no MS Excel
equivalent of min-max plots. So no point in saving as .xls and trying
to open it in MS Excel, as MS Excel XP does not have min-max plots.
Thanks

Dear All,
I am happy to declare my laptop "hangup free". It is now rock solid. Did not
hang even once.
The trick is to add idle=poll as the boot option.
Enjoy.
