Hi Pablo, This "bug" is not an issue for me!. I prefer saving the spreadsheet as .gnumeric. Just for completeness sake I was able to reproduce it. Binary package hit: gnumeric gnumeric-1.8.3-3ubuntu2 on amd64 Ubuntu Intrepid Ibex latest image as of Thursday, October 30 2008, 08:55:31 IST. a dummy dataset: a b c min 4 5 6 max 5 6 7
a horizontal min-max plot (with default settings) of this data set produced a nice graph. If I saved it as .gnumeric file, exited and reopened the same file, the graph is intact. But, if I saved it as MS Excel (tm) 97/2000/XP .xls and reopened it, the graph is blank! Hope this was complete. This "bug" is a non-issue, as there is no MS Excel equivalent of min-max plots. So no point in saving as .xls and trying to open it in MS Excel, as MS Excel XP does not have min-max plots.
