The fix works I think because with the Launcher/Taskmanager at the right
end it initiates its own redraws. If you are in the awn-manager and try
reordering any of the applets, the artifacts come right back regardless
of where they are. It seems like anytime an applet is not the cause of
its own rep

I can confirm that this is still an issue. To summarize that bug as I
believe he states it is simply that "the open file dialog need to
support URLs (if the application supports gnome-vfs)" or in other words
you are unable to add a url to a playlist using any of the programs
dialogs.

I updated the bios to F7 and no change. It is also may be important to
not i was getting the same error with my hard drives as well. Switching
the AHCI mode fixed it but now for whatever reason every time i boot i
have to press S to skip mounting a drive. It didn't do this before
switching to AHCI

I tried burning the new version to a DVD and ran that as well but i get
the same error message about nautilus. So i have booted into jaunty and
i don't get the DMA errors. I also booted live into The DMA error is
present in Lucid and my current release. Those are the only 3 other live
cd's
no nouveu locks up which is why I switched over to the Nvidia driver

The "iwconfig wlan0 rate 54m" solution, with the minipci-based cards at
least, appears to make iwconfig report the "proper" 54mb rate, but the
actual data rate is still sub-1mb. stephspynx, you can confirm this by
transferring a very large file between two computers on your local LAN.
