Not clear on what is causing this problem exactly but here is what I
found out. The qt development plugin debugger hangs but when using a
build of the qt library downloaded from source of 4.4.3 install in a
different prefix it doesn't. I was checking into it and noticed that

and it still worked however changing the bin directory to of my local

I add the same problem as George Lesica, except the memory address where
different. Everything seem to work fine for me, but the error in dmesg

unstable. It did pass 6hr mprime + 6hr memtest but there must be
something that initramfs does that is more sensitive then that. Sorry

I am also on 10.04 LTS and I can confirm it is also a problem. I assume
that the 3.x branch doesn't compile easily on 10.04... In any case a
quick fix is to block internet access to sound juicer, or just be
offline, so that it can't access the db info. In that case it works

I can confirm the change for @Fredrik works for me also, thank you.
This has bothered me for a while but not enough to look into it until
today when I found this bug report. Also using 10.04. This is a simple
fixed and should be pushed into at least lucid proposed. My version of
xdg-utils is 1.
I will comment here since my original bug report was marked as a
duplicate of this one. I did test with 2.6.37.12 and 2.6.38.4 backport
for lucid and it did fix the problem with suspend to ram for me.

Well I want to start with a little apology... After doing some more test
and stumbling by chance on my real problem it turns out the system did
not suspend because flgrx module were not compiled for that kernel.
Somehow, dkms no longer generate module automatically when installing a
new kernel. Wi

in the latest 2.6.32.31 kernel in lucid. As my original bug report
