I have notebook HP NC4200. I report an issue that when I plug my
headphones to the notebook, I hear sound from headphones and from
internal speaker; I assume that internal speaker should be muted. WinXP
works OK, so this is not a HW issue.

I report this bug under Totem package but I don't think it is in Totem.
I don't know where the problem is; it could be X-server issue.
When I reboot my PC, video works fine, I can play it in Totem, VLC, etc
I don't know what is this line about but it has similar output:

Ubuntu 11.04, i386. zsync 0.6.1
I tested zsync and found a situation when it cannot finish download.
zsync aborts after reading seed files.
zsync file used for my test:
# zsync http://psl.ic.cz/zsync/zorin-os-5-lite-32.iso.zsync
# ls -l
total 2028176
-rw--- 1 root root
I think that file changed on the file server. Whenever I download the
file, I receive different copy. And official MD5SUM file is missing, so
I cannot check when download iso image is correct.

I am sorry, I mix 8.04 and 8.10 version. I have 8.04 at my server, it is
LTS version and the problem I reported is at 8.04. When I notice 8.10,
it is my typo and should be 8.04.

# apt-get install firebird2.5-classic

I removed the package, I found with command
#fuser -v /var/cache/debconf/config.dat
what process is blocking /var/cache/debconf/config.dat and I killed it; it was
/usr/share/debconf/frontend.
Anyway, firebird2.5-classic package is broken, it cannot be installed.
