I suggest that decision on the action for this bug should only consider
the behavior regarding scroll-wheel over the desktop and should
disregard the (buggy) behavior of scrolling over "dead zones".

That is, FF does not reset its screen limits for these items after a
screen resolution change while it's running. However, after restarting
FF, the new resolution seems to be respected. Nautilus, though, seems
to handle the resolution change for its menus, so maybe it's specific to

I experience this bug. After plugging in the extern USB keyboard into
my laptop, the external keyboard uses the qwerty (non-default for me)
layout. But, the laptop's own (ps/2?) keyboard remains with the
original keyboard layout that I had as my default at the time I plugged

I open a PDF with Evince (e.g. by launching with Firefox).
I open the Save A Copy dialog.
On the left, I choose the "Recently Used" list.
I select one of the recently used items on the right.
I press Save.
Evince Quits/Crashes immediately.

It would be nice if the Gnome Save As dialog utilized the "History" that
is available in the Nautilus file browser (see attachment).
The Nautilus browser seems to have access to MRU directories (more

folder" drop-down menu-list, then I would rarely need to use the
full/extended Save As dialog that shows up when the "Browse for other
folders" arrow is turned down (revealed/expanded). That would be even

I am not a developer, but I think this bug is a duplicate of bug 303578.
Though that bug does not seem to mention the "About This Document" or
"Version and Release Numbers" pages in Yelp.
Whoever addresses one of these bugs should coordinate with the others.

This is a very frustrating bug that remains in Gnome 2.24.1: Nautilus
2.24.1. I think this is a bug and not really a wishlist item.
Reproduce it:
