Public bug reported: Binary package hint: sound-juicer
I really like the simplicity of Sound Juicer. However, the CDs I have are somewhat scratched. I like using the CDParanoia and related tools to get the best possible rip of the CD. I would like this support added to Sound Juicer. I currently use Grip ( http://www.nostatic.org/grip/ ) that is set up to use cdparanoia ( http://www.xiph.org/paranoia/index.html ). Sound Juicer is easier to use and better integrated with Gnome. Also, this cdparanoia should be similarly (equivalently?) enabled in the Rhythmbox app. Currently using Gnome 2.24.1 on Ubuntu 8.10 (with updates).
