- choose not to save user and group passwords
- save the connection
- attempt to connect
- you will be prompted for the passwords
- write an invalid password

Note that the applet remembers passwords even if you cancel the
passwords dialog. So if you attempt to connect and then change your
mind while inputting the passwords, you won't be able to connect later
since the applet uses the partial password(s) that you've written before
canceling the dialog.

I have the same problem. After trying to write a DVD with k3b, I could
see the same messages as Achraf in /var/log/messages (except that my
DVD+-RW is hdd, not hdc). After that, no DVD - written or blank - is
recognized in the unit. So I can't read any DVD, nor I can burn another

Hi Joseph, thanks for replying.
I've just tested the latest upstream kernel (4.19) and the issue no
longer occurs. I'm attaching a log as it may help understanding the
issue and pinpointing whatever patch may need to be backported.
For what is worth, I no longer get the following error after inst
