first login. That means the screen configuration is wrong

Editor scrolls do
So, any other idea as to why Evince cannot print the above PDFs? I know
Launchpad states that only 3 people are affected. But my whole office
has been having that problem for three years or so and most have already
moved on to proprietary software. Because, you know, that works.

I also have a GeForce 8600 GT. I recently reverted to version 290.10 of
nvidia's binary driver because of Bug #973096 (random Xorg crashes.)
The reversion also seems to have solved my problems powering off the
system and changing to tty. It might be a coincidence, though.

Sorry Steve, didn't read your last post attentive enough. When this
happens, I either removed /etc/network/interfaces or commented out the
primary network interface part, or I commented out everything except dns
part, and so on. So I think that has nothing to do witch interfaces
file.
