It's doing it again. Next reboot and Tilda segfaults on startup.
I think I've worked out why though: In the .tilda directory is the
config_0 created when you run it with -C. When I looked at the folder
after a crash, config_0 was completely empty and config_1 appeared to
have its contents.
So it

Tilda (0.09.6-1 on Intrepid) appeared to be working fine as I was using
it when I first installed it.
So I added it to my session startup programs with command
/usr/bin/tilda. Now it is crashing on startup and also when I try to run
it manually i get "Segmentation fault (core dumped)"

Indeed, I managed to fix it by running tilda -C which I imagine is
roughly the same as binning the ~/.tilda directory.
I did notice that when I ran config mode, all my previous settings where
gone. Now though, Tilda doesn't crash on startup, so it looks like Tilda
corrupted its config files maybe?
The "nice -19" workaround described in bug#207446 doesn't help me,
though I might have a similar underlying issue.

With wireless security off (but still hidden ESSID) network-manager can
connect to my Linksys router, and I can submit this comment wirelessly.
So while the ndiswrapper configuration may not be ideal, it is working
in the absence of wpa_supplicant.

Intrepid beta (2.6.27) actually caused me to start having this problem
when it didn't exist (for me) under 8.04. Suspend to RAM seems to
complete including drive spindown and immediately resumes. Hibernate
works perfectly. FWIW after the instant-resume suspend, an attempt to
reboot will hang right

"I have encountered this same issue using k3b in Hardy Heron x86_64.
After the write is complete, k3b commands the drive to eject the tray.

Ubuntu 8.04 - Apt-cacher gives error messages when trying to cache

I run the following commands and get errors when I use apt cacher:
$ sudo apt-get update
NO ERRORS
$ sudo cp /etc/apt/sources.list /etc/sources.list.ORIG0
$ sudo sed 's_http://_&fai.foo.org

Some rhythmbox podcast downloads have added garbage in the filename after the
mp3/ogg extension making it difficult to transfer to gtkpod until they are
renamed
As a note, the online documentation will continue to display with the
draft watermark. The published docs in xubuntu itself should not have
this watermark.

Hi Ted, I think that the information for the .desktop file just needs to
be updated to include XFCE. It should be a pretty simple fix. Would it
be possible to update this? Thanks.
