Actually, forget the previous patch. I just checked, and it doesn't work

icon) and then cancelled the account setup and whatnot. I removed the
~/.evolution folder and ~/.gconf/apps/evolution folder. Error's still

I have no idea, really. It only happens with torrents on my computer,
and never otherwise. But then again, my maximum throughput is 70kB/s. I
hate my ISP. You say the problem happens every 24 hours. I noticed that
every 24 hours, apt-check is run, and that does generate quite a bit of
network traff

problems, and the common factor seems to be ndiswrapper.

I never had a problem on Ubuntu Feisty, and certainly this problem only
happens for me on Gutsy with ndiswrapper. I can't figure out why though.

is supported by the "acx" module, the D-Link DWL-520+ card.

Workaround worked for me. I had that problem earlier with GIMP but it
went off with this update.

Well the workaround which has been shown above works. I've a friend who
had confirmed that it worked on his computer. Perhaps sometime soon the
backports team will backport the Gutsy kernel over.

In Gutsy's release (using LiveCD as well as installation), DWL-520+ with
the ACX100 module works fine with manual configuration, whereas with
NetworkManager, a kernel panic (oops) is induced.

Now that Gutsy is finally out I tried it with the Gutsy LiveCD, and
while ACX works, trying to use NetworkManager in conjunction with ACX
will cause a kernel panic. In Feisty I managed to use ndiswrapper
together with NetworkManager, but in Gutsy ndiswrapper refuses to
associate.

The problem's begun again. This time round, there's no link to Samba. At
least there doesn't seem to be a link. Which means that every time I try
to open the GIO open dialog, it hangs the application that called it, be
it Firefox, Totem, or any other application that uses GIO.
