iwl3945 driver. After I change my wireless mac address using macchanger, I can
not connect to any wireless network. What I do is:

I just installed 2.6.24-19-generic and suspend works much better than
17 and 18. I still get the beep plus the error message "your computer
failed to suspend" sometimes after waking up. But it works most of the

connect a TV using SVIDEO out, xrandr just shows 30 Hz refresh rate
which is for NTSC. If I try to change its format to PAL, the rate
changes to 25 instead of 60 Hz. I need to get 60 Hz in order to connect

I tried two different TVs. One was a old Sony and the other was a brand
new LCD LG TV. On both, the pictures are distorted due to incorrect
frequency. It seems that if I could change the frequency from 30 to 60,
it will be good.

application which can be added to the panel, not the free wandering
fish! When I added the fish to my panel, it worked just fine!

starts moving on the desktop. But when I click on it, it runs away

I confirm this problem. I tried Jauntyalpha 3 live CD on two laptops:
Lenovo T61 and toshiba A100. None of them could resume from suspend. It
just showed a blank screen and no key was working even alt-sys-b or ctl-
alt-bkspace.

I have a satellite A100, I used to do suspend/ hibernate in Gutsy. I
upgraded to Hardy and I was able to suspend and wake up previously (I
didn't test hibernate) , but recently it does not wake up from suspend.
I just hear a noise from dvd drive, then the cursor in a empty screen.

Yeah, this is related to the kernel. I have 2.6.24-12, 2.6.24-14 and
2.6.24-15 kernels with my Hardy and suspend works fine with the first
two kernels but when I boot with 2.6.24-15, I have the problem with
suspend and hibernate.

Although it works much better in 2.6.24-16 but with 2.6.24-16-generic I
still have the problem. It is very strange because it behaves very
randomly. Sometimes it works sometimes not. Sometimes when I suspend,

I've attached an ogg vorbis video of this behavior. It's quite obvious
that the flag that updates the direction of where the window minimizes
to is updated on demand and not updated correctly in this case. Some
kind of race condition in the minimize code perhaps?

pnpacpi=off workaround fixed the issue and I have sound again. Looking
at the intel hda module loading error it seems to have memory space
overlap issues as it fails to allocate memory for that specific device.
But it seems you already know the solution.

I think gnome can keep it as a feature. For me It was a good feature
(before fixing). I mostly use non-English layout but my password is in
