Right I've enabled -proposed and done all the updates. rebooted let
Ubuntu start to enable everything. Re-started gone into the windows
killed it, rebooted into Ubuntu and no change it goes into

I believe this is one of those bugs that simply can't be fixed
currently.
Because the cdrom is mounted (almost virtually as I uderstand it). I
can't then be mounted again by the system because the device is in use.
However the setting is required by the system once installed and it
can't b

The repos are enabled but you need to do sudo apt-get update. Starting
Add/Remove will prompt you for a reload as to I believe will Synaptic.
The issue here is the fact that the repos aren't on the cd which are the
only repos enabled until you refresh them. This wa

Agostino that was. I ran wubi and as soon as I got the start of the
boot process I hit ESC and selected run in verbose mode (or whatever it
says) and then continued from there.

I've just double checked on a live cd and the network is up and running
correctly.
It is only alternative that reports it is unable to find a network.
