I can confirm the same problem. My webcam is the Logitech Quickcam pro
9000, works perfectly in Cheese webcam booth but have the 'capture
extension not loaded' problem in aMSN, thus unable to use the webcam.
The same webcam worked perfectly in Ubuntu 8.10 on aMSN and cheese.

There are some programs that dont appear for some strange reason, I have had
some problems using the add/remove programs section where some programs
would show and others that were usually there suddenly weren
A feature LOL you've got to be kidding me! Its a step backwards in my
opinion and from what I'm reading on the net I'm certainly not the only
person to think so. Its a real shame.

No you've misinterpreted what I have said, there was an issue with the
Jaunty Alpha 6 release as I couldn't get the themes to install however I now
can with the Beta release of Ubuntu 9.04. Its not the case of making
mistakes as I followed the exact same procedure each time.

I've found out what's caused the blank presets. Its the moomex theme. It's
odd as the moomex theme worked with vlc on Intrepid. Here's a link to that
