Since I upgraded to linux kernel 2.6.31-7-generic, running losetup -e
aes256 (or mount -o loop,encryption=aes256) causes losetup (or mount)
not to return, and by running htop, I find that losetup (or mount) is

I just downloaded the patch from here, and it extracts fine using: tar
zxf monajat_2.3.1-0ubuntu1.debian.tar.gz
Btw, I downloaded using elinks.

Hello,
I have the same issue with the same graphics controller (also another
person I know from identi.ca with the same graphics controller has that
problem).

Note, I can ssh to the machine after the freeze, so I kill compiz, then
run
DISPLAY=:0 metacity --replace
and hence restore the GUI without having to restart the machine.
