"Networking
information not available" in knetwork-manager. If you remove the file and
restart, the problem becomes normal.
If necessary, I'll put the log Daemon.log here.

I have same problem. I have a notebook Dell Vostro 3500 with a Intel HD
i915 (internal GPU) and Nvidia Geforce 310m (dicrete GPU).

I have been using Kubuntu 12.04 and the problem keeps.

An interesting thing is: When I copy a big file to usb device, it starts
very fast (such as it was transfering to a disk cache) and after few
seconds the transfer goes down to "normal" speed.
