For me tvtime doesn't get more cpu time than kdetv - both use xv for
video acceleration and cpu usage is really small even in 924x... tv
input resolution from tv card. I've converted channel list from kdetv to
tvtime format and now I use tvtime temporary. I'm using open source

i've found out the same thing happens when you simply close the lid (when it's
set to just turn off the screen in such case) or switch to tty by ctrl-alt-f1
and back by ctrl-alt-f7 - the brightness is reset.

Affected is 2.6.26-5-generic kernel in ubuntu intrepid ibex, It hangs after
"Loading hardware drivers".
Also, laptop built-in speaker keeps beeping.
I can workaround this problem by adding "noacpi" boot option.

thanks mate.. actually I've been using 'mailer => sendmail' for a
quite some time now since it makes more sense due to tsl/sasl setup.
think i should try e::sender some time soon.. please do keep up the
excellent work!

yes... however I use Email::Send throughout my app many times and not
all of the calls have got the same run scenario thus I don't know if
that one was the only one which caused the problems.

You do what has already been done here and hope it gets accepted.
Hopefully, it will. These changes are important. Personally I'm affected
by this "auto-disconnect issue with explicit A2DP connections".

I can confirm this issue on my MSI Wind U100. The touchpad does not work
at all.

The installer does not fit vertically on the screen. The Back/Forward
buttons are cut off under the bottom panel. This renders the installer
useless unless you try guessing with the keyboard which I am not going
to do, because I'm getting to old
I've noticed that the font DPI is set to 118 by default. It used to be
96. Changing this value did not help. Even removing the bottom panel
completely did not help, as the window is simply too tall to reveal the
bottom buttons.

i have similar problem with atheros 5007eg.
i'm not sure if the problem was ever not present, however it may matter that
i'm using a third party driver from madwifi site (see
http://madwifi-project.org/ticket/1192 ).
reloading the drivers does solve the problem in my case, as well.
i'll try compi
installing the latest snapshot didn't help.

i've logitech corded wave, and the same issue. when i run keytouch-
editor from terminal, it says there're not devices in /dev/input, and if
i run it from /system/preferences it lists some devices (and it lists
the keyboard twice), and asks me to press some function buttons on the
keyboard, but it
oh, i found out that the terminal issue can be solved by runing keytouch
with sudo.. then it acts just as it does when run from preferences..
still, it fails to detect the keyboard properly.

after some research i found there's a proprietary piece of software to do this,
but it doesn't support 64-bit kernels, so i can't even see if it works
correctly, but it might help those of you who have 32-bit systems:
