There are many who are stuck on Dapper, because we CANNOT upgrade. Much
horror results when we try. It would be most agreeable if these fixed
could be backported to Dapper as well.

I'm afraid I can't try Feisty for my main desktop. I'm running software
RAID, which is known to get broken during upgrades (on top of all of the
other horrors that happen in Dapper -> Edgy upgrades).
I did try installing Feisty under Parallels, but the installer always
locks up, so I had to use C
Note that this may be a false alarm.
It appears that the quake installer script is looking for a program
called "print" to use in place of "echo". The one installed on my
system, however, has something to do with email and is therefore the
wrong "print".

With all due respect, I think it's inappropriate to reject this bug. I
think you didn't understand the bug I was reporting. If mdadm is
installed by default, then it wasn't automatically configured properly.
It reported nothing to me, so either the installation didn't set it up
right, or it's bro
