loading the right keyboard layout on start-up. But as soon as I log in
(with the correct layout) it switches back to english - no matter what.

I can confirm having the same issue on 14.04 using geforce 7100GS. I am
getting unknown display VGA-0, which is not plugged in with 640x480
resolution. Most desktop managers do not work correctly because of this

center. I can not install anything as user (I will never be asked for

I restarted and the got the message (crash report) that th
I just reproduced this on a remote server, I had a "natty" snapshot (am now on
11.10). After deleting the snapshot system booted just fine. This effectively
kills the snapshot function for the rootfs.
Took me a few hours to get a remote console and figure this one out.

As described above - tried to install Leeenux on my Eeepc 701 4G, but
installer crashed, leaving me with a splash screen that asked me to
report this issue.

Like I said, I am unable to do that, because the requested log files
weren't on the USB stick, and there were no instruction on how else to
retrieve them (from a HD with a crashed OS install, with the requirement
that said files need to be secured before reboot). Sorry about that.

Thanks for the info. In the meantime, however, I was able to install the
Leeenux regular iso (http://www.leeenux-
linux.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=133%3Adownload-
leeenux-version-40-standard-edition&catid=34&Itemid=53) without issues.

The above instructions don't work. I actually managed to install apport
on the crashed Linux page (more or less), but ultimately I get the
message that an authorization page should open in my browser (!).

I can reproduce the bug as well. The focus is not restored to the
desktop after closing a window. However when closing a window on a
desktop with multiply windows, the focus is restored to another window
as expected.

Had my laptop unplugged for about 45 minutes and then plugged it back
it. Gnome Power Manager was taking about 90% CPU and 200 MB of RAM.
Would not update the icon in the notification area on the device's power
