To reproduce this bug, you have to throw the window very fast under the
panel with the mouse. If you simply try to drop it slowly, it won't be
reproducible. It will generally happens when a window try restore over
the panel or if you do a bad and fast move.

This patch has been already discussed by GNOME developers in their bug
tracking system and it is still not appropriate. It is a very good
workaround at the mean time, but not good enough to be applied on
upstream project so this bug will stay open until GNOME developers (or
anyone else) make a comp

reproduce this bug anymore so I mark it as invalid.

Thanks for your bug report.
The behavior that you report is normal because your environment variable
misses ".UTF-8". First of all, you need to install language support for
"es" locale in ubuntu and then you should be able to start gnucash in
that locale without restarting GNOME with this command

Concerning the fact that gnucash is not 100% translated, you can use
both LANGUAGE and LANG environment variables at the same time :
export LANGUAGE=es_ES.UTF-8
export LANG=es_ES.UTF-8

Of course, accounts that have been created in the past will keep the

This commit is not enough to fix the bug, other commits are necessary so
I suggest to wait for next VLC release rather than searching which
commits are needed.

I've been able to boot LiveCD from nfs mount with intrepid and jaunty
alpha 3 without any problem, so I think that this bug is fixed (or that
a workaround is now enabled). Should this bug be closed?
