driver however does not support this card and fails X server with the
following (last 5 lines of xorg log file):

btw if you have installed cydia on your iphone one of the apps available is
called dtunes which will allow you to just copy the mp3s onto a folder and play
them. It's not as good as apples itunes but it plays your music so it's better
than nothing for now.

This problem did stop for me for a while, after upgrading to hardy, but
I have started seeing it again. I've been busy, and don't really
remember when, but it was probably a few months ago.

Hi Tim, and thank you so much for the update. I have compiled modules on
Hardy using your GIT repository, and it worked just fine on my Asus F5N
laptop. The only thing I had to do is to manually specify the country
code for ath_pci kernel module:
# modprobe -r ath_pci
# modprobe ath_pci countrycod
go to your home folder and highlight the affected folder (for example
'Pictures'). right click on it and choose properties. go to the "open
with" tab and make sure the setting reads open folder and not Totem.
that should do the trick. then do the same for any other affected folder.

from booting if the array is reshaping (as opposed to missing a disk)

I can confirm the same behavior on a Shuttle X SN41g2 system with an AMD
XP2400+ processor, and the Nvidia chipset with an onboard MX420 - I
tried nvidia-glx and nvidia-glx-legacy and eventually got so frustrated

I don't think this bug is invalid. I just tried to change the host name
of this virtual machine. So the first thing I did was look for Network
in the System > Administration. That lead me to almost create a new bug
report because it is a regression that you cannot "administer" the
network settings
