I've encountered this bug three consecutive times. While installing
11.04, the installer starts up, I configure my location, manually
partition my drive and press submit. While my partitions are being
created and configured, ubiquity crashes.

Just experienced the same problem on another one of my systems while
installing 11.04. It was previously running 11.10 as well, similar to
the system I referenced in my original bug report.
It may be a coincidence, but in every case where it's crashed I've
selected "no" when prompted about copying

I am running Ubuntu 12.10 with fglrx 13.4. The system works fine with
the exception:
If I run either kernels 3.5.0-31-generic or 3.5.0-32-generic, I get a kernel
panic/hard freeze within about 5-30 minutes of using the computer.

I'm seeing this as well. The up and down keys do not function, and the
only way to set volume in alsamixer is to hit the number keys. The
number keys function as expected, unlike the original report.

I'm on Ubuntu 10.10 using 1.3.7-1ubuntu3 and when I use chewing to type,
whenever I don't enter a tone (which when using zhuyin to type is
considered a first tone), and I hit enter, no character is entered.
However, if I manually open the list of ava
I am still having this problem. I click on the preferences from the
panel icon then close it and main.py runs at 100% CPU forever.
What's worse, now there is a new problem. I often have the ibus settings
menu open then close repeatedly. It usually happens when I click on any
new window. It happens

I can confirm that this bug still exists in Ubuntu 10.10. I installed
Ubuntu on a laptop and the sound still plays even though "Play login
sound" is unchecked in the Login Screen Settings.

I don't think there is any confusion. On a fresh install of Ubuntu 10.10
the double drums play when the GDM login screen appears. Once the user
logs in and goes to System->Administration->Login Screen->Play login
sound the user can see that the option is unchecked, yet the double
drums will continu

What is the status of this bug? Why has it been marked as incomplete? I
have performed all the testing and provided all of the feedback
requested of me. It is still an issue.
