1. Download a .m3u playlist that points to streaming media files in the .xm
(FastTracker 2 [1]) format.
2. Open it in Totem.
It will try to play the first file, and fail. Double-clicking on any
individual file will also fail.

Yes, I did a fresh install of 9.04, installed everything in the update
manager, then made the xorg.conf changes, installed fixmtrr.sh, the X
updates, and the 2.6.29.3 kernel. Performance was worse than a clean
install with just the lp349314 kernel posted in this thread and no other
