I haven't used Transmission in quite some time because I have been
focusing on other problems/bugs/life, however, I discovered today that
Transmission STILL causes a kernel panic on my T42 Thinkpad after a
random amount of time. Sometimes it's 5 minutes, sometimes it's and hour
and happens regardle
Looks like the latest patch release of the light-theme package has
(finally) been made aware of the CPU Scaling Monitor applets special
case.
This bug report can be considered resolved as the problem has been
fixed.

When using KMS, "dmesg" shows that the radeon driver puts my 7500
Mobility in 1X mode instead of 4X mode which the AGP V2 bridge supports.
It used to default to the correct mode with 9.10. The problem originally
appeared on 10.04

Having the same issue here on the 32 bit x86 version of 10.10. When I am
running Compiz and a new theme is chosen, all the elements correctly
change EXCEPT the window border. The only way to change the window
border is to choose "Customize" and set it manually to the correct
theme.

Oh yeah, themes apply correctly if Compiz is turned off and I am current
with the Maverick updates

Having the same trouble here. Guake is a great time saver/convenience
and having to manually set the TERM after every reboot is rather
troublesome. Hope it's fixed soon, just shout if any additional
information is needed!

Sure thing! I have attached a screen shot that shows the problem. The
CPU frequency monitor applet that is suffering from the problem is in
the bottom right next to the system monitor applet and the workspace
switcher. You can still see the icon and if you look at it just right,
you can barely see
The update fixed the crashing problem, but now the gnome-power-
backlight-helper is chronically in your face asking for authentication
twice on boot up and every 10 seconds or so (two times each time) if you
leave the "dim display when idle" option checked.
So, it seems we're no longer crashing, b
Yeah, I used the same method to "band-aid" the problem, but I still
suspect that the underlying issue (whatever it may be as I'm not a
developer) needs to be sorted out ;)

Ok, as I sit here on my T42 Thinkpad running on battery and a fully up
to date version of Maverick Alpha 3 and listen to my hard drive spin up
and down so often it rarely actually FINISHES spinning DOWN before
spooling back UP, I'm going to chime in and say the settings are way,
way, WAY too aggres
Just a note here, I hadn't noticed previously, but when on AC power the
system properly suspends to RAM when the idle timer has expired. On
battery power the laptop suspends to disk (hibernates) after the time is
up.

Having the same problem on my up date Maverick beta install, suggested
fix SOLVES the problem thankfuly as something isdetecting my LVDS panel
as 1360x768 instead of what it is, 1024x786 and the result is...
interesting... o to do more bug hunting/fixing!

Ok, there has been NO progress on this bug, which is drastically
affecting the usability of certain applets such as the "CPU Scaling
Monitor" by making the text UTTERLY illegible. This is a confirmed
