Public bug reported: Binary package hint: transmission
Transmission is causing a Kernel Panic on my system after about 10 minutes if the system is left idle, I have not measured the time it takes, but it happens 100% of the time I have transmission open. It does not matter if I have other applications open or not, the kernel panic will ALWAYS occur. The kernel panic happens when I have active transfers, however I have not tried it if the transfers are paused or if there are no transfers. lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 10.04.1 LTS Release: 10.04 apt-cache policy transmission transmission: Installed: (none) Candidate: 1.93-0ubuntu0.10.04.1 Version table: 1.93-0ubuntu0.10.04.1 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid-updates/universe Packages 1.92-0ubuntu2 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ lucid/universe Packages ** Affects: transmission (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Transmission causing a kernel panic https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/617085 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
