Public bug reported: Binary package hint: light-themes
$ lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu maverick (development branch) Release: 10.10 $ apt-cache policy light-themes light-themes: Installed: 0.1.7 Candidate: 0.1.7 Version table: *** 0.1.7 0 500 http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ maverick/main i386 Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status Ok, this has been bugging me since I installed Alpha 3 (Ambience's-maverick-beta theme) and still has been persistent even after it was renamed to "Ambiance" in a recent update. There are certain text elements that show up almost invisible because they are so dark. Screenshot will be attached with an example of the CPU Frequency Scaling Monitor where I first discovered the problem and will add more examples as I remember (found examples of the problem in some Firefox add-ons as well). This was not a problem with the 10.04 Ambiance theme but showed up in the ambiance beta theme for 10.10. See the attached screen shot for a good example. This seems to be a problem with theme's handling of certain usage of text elements/formatting in applications and not the applications themselves. ** Affects: light-themes (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Text color issue in Maverick Alpha https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/627014 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
