Public bug reported:
Hi,
I've set up multiple keyboard layouts in gnome-keyboard-properties
(Swiss French and Dvorak-Bépo) and these settings are not handled
correctly throughout Gnome. Depending which one is defined as the
default layout (top of the list of layouts in gnome-keyboard-properties)
The problem is still here in Lucid Lynx RC. In short, when more than one
keyboard layout is configured :
- in the dialog for unlocking the screen, the keyboard layout indicator
displays the wrong layout
- in gnome-terminal keyboard shortcuts aren't using the current keyboard layout

Still an issue under Lucid RC.
I'm using Swiss French (Che) as a default layout and French Bépo (Fre)
as a second layout. When locking the screen the keyboard indicator
doesn't always display the current layout in use - but when you type it

Still present in Lucid RC.
Just try it : add a non traditional keyboard layout (eg. Dvorak) but
don't make it the default one (ie don't make it the first layout in the
list), then launch gnome-terminal and try to hit Ctrl-C.
