No, no progress on this. The package ftbfs in release in both bionic and
cosmic, in ways that are not obviously the same. I'm not very inclined
to fix cosmic but I guess fixing bionic should be slightly higher
priority.

that there is some flag or other we could be passing when building that
affects this behaviour.
It's not obvious to me how containerd is calling pselect6. Can you get a
backtrace so
console-conf is still consumed as a package for now. I'd like that to
become a snap one day but I don't know if that's going to happen in time
for core20.

So the status of this is that it is landed in subiquity master and is
being included in the eoan images (but not yet the bionic ones). If you
are one of the people waiting for this feature, please grab yourself an

There's a lot going on in this bug but I've just uploaded a change to
casper that fixes at least something in the right area. With this

So subiquity/curtin sort of tiptoe around this bug currently. Curtin's
data model uses the same field ("flag") to indicate that a partition is
an ESP (set flag to "boot") and that a partition is a logical partition
(set flag to "logical").
