In the Hardy 2.0.1-0ubuntu5 gnome-raw-thumbnailer package, the gnome
schema XML file only includes the image/x-dcraw mime type. However,
/usr/share/mime/packages/freedesktop.org.xml has unique mime types for
each camera raw format.
FYI - I've been monitoring the Subversion dev mailing list and they are
planning on rolling out the 1.5.1 tarball sometime over the next few
days. This means a likely 1.5.1 release in the very near term.

Semi-success. Using the fglrx module patch above, my NC6000
successfully gets into sleep mode. However, it hangs hard when waking
up. The early stages of waking up go ok but then the machine locks up
after what looks like a video mode switch.

The recently released v1.04 of the server supports the latest gutsy
kernel (2.6.22-12) out of the box without any patching. IMHO it is now
ready for inclusion within gutsy, if time permits. I assume, but
haven't checked, that the newly release player is also 2.6.22 ready.

Adding a comment here so others can find it. Gizmo5, a 32 bit app,
seems to require the lib32nss-mdns package to successfully connect. The
above fix has the side-effect of "uninstalling" the lib32nss-mdns
library if you are upgrading from a previous version of ia32-libs.

I am running into the same problem on an nc6000 in feisty. When you
boot from the dapper live CD, what is the output of setserial -a for
each of the potential serial ports (ttyS0 through ttyS3)? Perhaps the
more recent kernels are misdetecting the IRQ/io ports for the HP's
serial ports.

ports off an LPC bridge. On my system, they appear in
/sys/bus/pnp/devices/00:02. I've attached the output from an ls and

I MAY have figured out a work-around. Try the following and see if it
fixes your problem. I am not sure why this problem occurs, but
disabling and then re-enabling the PNP serial port seems to correctly
initialize it. For some reason the newer kernels aren't correctly
