I moved the .purple folder and restarted. Immediately it logged me into
my accounts and started to use 100% cpu again. This was odd since it
shouldn't have known about my accounts with the .purple directory gone.
I noticed there was a .gaim directory and the .purple had been recreated
from it. The

usb-creator 0.1.7 on Intrepid to create a bootable Ubuntu 8.04.1 LTS
usb stick. I've tried creating both with and without allocating reserved

When I say that pidgin uses 100% cpu all the time I mean that something
causes it to use 100% and from them on it uses 100% cpu. However if I
shut pidgin down (it does respond quite promptly to SIGTERM) and then
restart it then it will not use 100% cpu for a while. However, this does

I get a similar problem. After choosing USB Removable Media (or similar)
as the bootable device I get "Invalid or damaged Bootable partition" (I
don't know why the B is capitalized).
I ran usb-creator with and without -s and in both cases the end result
was the same. I'm using the ubuntu-8.04.1-de

I have this problem too. I installed Alpha 5 on Feb 22nd from scratch
(doing a cliean install). The tracker icon blinks constantly. It's been
about 40 hours of mostly idle time.

Hi, with 1.1.0b12 I had a lot of crashes and the browser would spend 11m
at a time gray and unresponsive. Removing firebug fixed the prob.

After a fresh install of Gutsy tribe 3 I get a pop-up in the bottom
right corner of the screen telling me that "the configuration defaults
from GNOME Power Manager have not been installed correctly..." (see

Could this be related to problem #107320? I'm having that problem too,
and I do have the intel gma chipset.
Also, disabling and then re-enabling desktop effects causes temporary
(until reboot) solution to this problem.

Enabling "Key presses repeat when key is held down" in System ->
Preferences -> Keyboard does not solve the problem. Instead, each key
press is registered twice and is not repeated when the key is held down.

I installed the program CompizConfig Settings Manager using synaptic. In
there, I clicked the button at the top of the center section titled
"General Options" and there went to the tab "Focus & Raise Behavior." I
enabled "Raise on Click" and now windows work as expected.
