Running Intrepid with GM-PM-2.24.0
The battery icon in gnome-panel is always shown in discharge mode. It
doesn't change on plugging/unplugging power cord. The only way to
confirm it is charging or discharging is to left click on it.
Well apparently this issue has been solved with recent update. AFAIK it
showed up when the previous update broke GPM . It was corrected
afterwards.

GPM doesn't recognize TP UltraBay battery. I use T61p with ThinkPad
41U4890 battery. When UltraBay battery is inserted icon on gnome panel
shows that computer is working on AC. It shows only one battery present
which status is charged
Apparently GPM needs to be restarted in order to recognize second
battery. The issue needs further investigation.

When booting laptop with UltraBay battery inserted gnome-power-manager

That's a serious bug. After installing Evms my lvm2 volumes could not be
accessed anymore. So I tried to rescue them with Rescue broken system
option from Gusty alternate cd. These are steps, which were necessary tu

Confirmed Xmms volume and balance regulation doesn't work. When i start
Mplayer while playing Xmms I receive the following error: "Could not
open/initialize audio device". Otherwise Mplayer, Rhythmbox volume
regulators are working properly.

Your solution with software mixing solves the problem. I think that this
should enabled by default. After all it is not obvious for everyone.

There seems to be a simple dependence of the effect upon the cause. The
more tabs I open the less stable Firefox becomes. The longer it runs
without restart the more often it crashes. It likes to crash especially
when after a crash I try to resume a previous session.

On my Laptop with Intel 915 after xscreensaver engages it makes X
session unworkable. Cursor starts to move in jumps, and minimizing any
window is almost impossible. Screensaver sometimes won't run, sometimes
it starts after many seconds of pressing close lid button.

It is also impossible to get any sound from it when testing with hwdb-
client, although sound works fine
Well this still hasn't been fixed for all hardware. My 3c589D pcmcia
card is not supported. When I pull out the cable there is no
confirmation from nm-applet.
