As far as routers are concerned I got across this problem on my Linksys WRT54GS v.4. I thought that it is pure linksys firmware problem that is not ready for enabling window scaling as defined in RFC1323, but the problem is still present while using DD-WRT v24 RC-2 (09/04/07) std.
