Debian has a build-dep on scrollkeeper instead of rarian-compat. rarian-
compat in Ubuntu provides scrollkeeper as a virtual package, so they are
effectively the same at build time.
I checked the versioning on gnome-doc-utils and intltool: both specify
minimum versions lower than those in the arch
I was able to build this package not too long ago, however obviously it
does not at the moment, so I'm going to close this bug. It is probably
not difficult to merge the changes, but that would only divert the

Debdiff attached which should fix this by dropping an OnlyShowIn line,
as well as a missing icon from the .desktop itself. Tested on XFCE and
GNOME, package is available in my PPA for further testing.

Can confirm. NetworkManager's init script has to be started again
afterwards. Using a PPTP VPN connection to trigger the crash. nm-applet
notifies you that the connection failed before NM's crash (or before it
realizes NM has crashed) as described. Also seems to occur after *any*
type of connection
Something I just noticed: I can still use my wireless connection as
usual after the crash, even though the NetworkManager service is not
running. Maybe that's intended behavior, but I figured it could be
useful information.

I wasn't aware of a NotShowIn line for desktop entries. Changed, thanks.
With regards to the build system, I switched it to CDBS because:
1) it looked like a stock debhelper rules file
2) the source package would fail to build after the first time
Though in retrospect, that probably wasn't

Odd, I tried using [ -f Makefile ] earlier and it didn't work, but it
seems to be working fine now. Changed.
I'm not entirely sure why the source Makefiles are changing in the
diffs, but it could be because of an automake version difference (see
the comments at the top of the diff about au

I can confirm that Compiz (along with everything else 3D) still runs
very slowly, with glxgears running at around 200FPS (or about 300FPS
with card0 permissions set properly). This is after applying the latest
updates.
Attached my X log, though I was unable to find anything out of the
ordinary in
Bryce:
99% sure this is already fixed in Jaunty with the 2:2.5.1 driver set. No
texturing issues at all here. Everything looks and runs fine, aside from
the current xserver slowness (but that's a different bug).
As long as someone else can also confirm this works, this bug is defunct
