Bryce: 99% sure this is already fixed in Jaunty with the 2:2.5.1 driver set. No texturing issues at all here. Everything looks and runs fine, aside from the current xserver slowness (but that's a different bug).
As long as someone else can also confirm this works, this bug is defunct except for Intrepid, where the issue remains.
