Binary package hint: rhythmbox
When I try to play my MP3s in Rhythmbox my disks make a strange and

However, when I play the same MP3s in Totem, it works just fine.
rhythmbox 0.11.6svn20080731-0ubuntu3

it works fine in Totem though.
