updates on 5-24-08, nautilus is not able to access the trash folder.
Trying to access from desktop gives error "Couldn't display trash:,

No, gvfsd-trash is not running, and the command you gave comes back as
beng invalid, even after I instaled the required package.

I have not had further chance to test the bug, since no further update
to upstart has been received. I am currently in the process of backing
up my files, so I will not be able to reinstall upstart to test the
results for at least 15 hours or so.
