** Summary changed: - Flash plugin not working in opera + [Fixed] Flash plugin not working in opera
** Description changed: Binary package hint: flashplugin-nonfree Since the latest update, flashplugin-nonfree has refused to work properly in Opera for any length of time. Tried installing mozilla-gnash plugin to make things work, no help. Initially, opera gave me the message that the plugin was not installed (it was), let me try to download it. The installer direct from Adobe refuses to work (designed for i386, I have amd64), reinstalled plugin through synaptic, no help. A couple days ago, I finally got flash working, though I'm not sure how. Last night it stopped working, and now the place where the flash should be is blank, and if I open a menu or anything over top of it, the image from the menu freezes in place over the applet. System info: HP dv5 AMD64 Running Intrepid 64 desktop all the latest updates applied as of 3-6-09 Opera version: 9.64 I don't think this is an opera bug. + + + UPDATE: + Instability solved (for now) with removal of nspluginwrapper. Seems to be incompatible with 64-bit flash plugin + http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/flashplayer10/releasenotes_64bit.html + See known issues at above url -- [Fixed] Flash plugin not working in opera https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/338663 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
