I can confirm this. I've been having the same problem. All I've had to
do though was install the 915resolution package, and it worked. I
didn't even have to configure anything. (I've got a Gateway MX1023
notebook/laptop.)

I've also got an 82801G (ICH7 Family) High Definition Audio Controller
(rev 02) on my Gateway MX1023 laptop with no sound, and am running Edgy
Eft with the latest updates.

Is there a way to deprecate the PEAR version now that we've got it in
core PHP? I could see a lot of users installing php-soap not realizing
that it's part of core. I actually didn't know until I did a bit of
research. ;)

I had this problem with horde3 and imp4; it wouldn't accept the php5
versions of some packages. It pulled in php4 packages instead even
though php5 versions were available and installed.
I haven't installed kronolith2 (yet) so I think this may just be a
horde3 problem. I'll confirm it anyway.

what package it's from. It's not available on my system by default, and
I can't seem to find the package that it ships with.

In Settings -> Devices -> Keyboard, disable the following:
* Save a screenshot of a window to Pictures
* Save a screenshot of an area to Pictures
* Save a screenshot to Pictures
Then, add a custom keyboard shortcut:
Name: Gnome screenshot (interactive)
Command: gnome
Resetting status as still not fixed upstream.

@clvx: I think the other bug is unrelated, although maybe that's what
you're running into instead of this one.
I was also able to fix this problem by removing dnsmasq:
* sudo apt remove dnsmasq
As soon as I did that, both processes dropped to nothing, and DNS still
resolves.

Folks, just enable the Proposed channel for the next four days (until
this is released into stable on the 5th). You can disable it again
afterwards. This is what I've been doing, and haven't run into this
issue again (or any other problems with Proposed).

It wasn't in my startup applications, but installing "blueman" and
disabling "Auto power-on" in there did the trick. I now have 2 icons
for Bluetooth on my panel instead of 1, but that's fine.

Thanks, but I've recently switched to https://keepassxc.org/ so I no
longer need keepass2. It's better, and solves many problems including
this one. I'd recommend it for everyone.
