@Sergiu
Did you try removing the existing connection entry and create a brand
new one?
This worked for me. NM prompted me for the password and the new
connection is now persistent (i.e. is not lost on reboot)

Unfortunately, I'm not able to reproduce this anymore.
It happened when the mail server went offline and I got a "no route
to host" message.
Trying to reproduce this, putting my network connection down, I get
an "unknown host" message, since Evolution is unable to resolve the
dns name.

ok.
dns-nameservers works fine, but it seems that dns-search is ignored.

I confirm this bug on all my machines using apt-cacher 1.5.3 on a Debian Etch

As soon as I remove the line "Acquire::http::Proxy" from /etc/apt/apt.conf

Hmm, after further investigation, I do believe it is a proxy-related
problem (see Bug #24250), not directly connected to apt-cacher.
In fact, if I use a syntax like the following for all the entries in

I agree with Richard: bug #113658 is related to this.
Also people here at my university lab (where we use apt-cacher to save
bandwith) would benefit a lot!
(p.s. Richard: put # before the bug number, in order to have automatic
linking ;) )

I have the same problem on gutsy (coreutils 5.97-5.3ubuntu).
A workaround is to specify as a first operation "0 min" (so without a +
or - sign, as Tino suggests) and then the actual operation. e.g. :
date -d "2007-03-23 21:01 0 min -10 min"
At least for me, it works.

I can confirm on my side that this is Nautilus-related.
