xdg-open's GNOME detection is broken in Intrepid; it tests for the
existence of GNOME_DESKTOP_SESSION_ID in the user's environment, but
this is no longer set by gnome-session. This pretty much makes xdg-open

The easiest way to fix this for you is to remove Xgl. Fglrx in Hardy
supports the needed extensions to run Compiz. Simply removing the
xserver-xgl package should make compiz work for you.
For Intrepid I'll aim to make Xgl fail to start when it's not needed.

The grub2 version specified doesn't exist in unstable or testing; it's
in experimental. I've tried the experimental version, and it has the
small problem of not insmod-ing linux, which makes booting a little

You've added a task against the nouveau drivers - have you actually
tested using them? They are not available in the Intrepid repositories.
How have you tried to enable the DVI out? You need to use the 'nvidia-
settings' program to control dual-head, video-out, and such.

Intrepid, and the previous version fails to build against evolution-data-server
>= 2.24. The new upstream version has an ABI bump, so this will spark a
mini-transition on evolution-sharp's 4 rdepen

Actually, gnome-do-plugins does *not* depend on evolution, at least not
directly. It *does* depend on libevolution5.0-cil, because the
evolution plugin links to this library. The libevolution5.0-cil package
in turn links to a library found only in the evolution package, so
