Binary package hint: kdebase-workspace
KDE4's display widget fails to set any XRandR 1.2 mode but 'clone'.
Attached is the terminal output. The sequence of events is:
* Load up
* Set DVI-D-0 to "right of". (remains cloned)
* Set DVI-D-0 to "rotate 90 left" (nothing happens)
* Set resolution on DVI-D-0 to 1024x768 (Resolution changes, display is rotated
90 left)
* Set rotation to "normal" (nothing happens)
* Set resolution to 1280x1024 (Resolution changes, display is unrotated).
** Affects: kdebase-workspace (Ubuntu)
