today's Lubuntu daily was written with mkusb/LIVE (yesterdays was
mkusb/CLONE I believe)

and that boots normally... with desktop up & visible within 6 mins
anyway (I forgot to look at clock; too busy picking up mouth from
floor..)

On selecting some they appear to flash on screen, then get replaced by a
image... currently this firefox window appears on my other display with
this "add comment" box frozen at the word "currently" last line when the

If you'd filed the bug using `ubuntu-bug initramfs-tools` that would
have made apport collect all detail & upload the details to launchpad,
then tried to open `firefox` to allow you to login & provide additional
details (who you are, describe bug etc that you did online).

A subsequent reboot and the screen was as expected, the blocky-glitches
on my-left-display were gone... System appeared normal and exactly as

I booted Ubuntu impish daily (live) on the box the bug is reported under (a box
I use for QA-test installs)

Adding the tor-browser package will result in a usable tor browser just
as teward outlines.
This however does not occur with
- Lubuntu (

I just confirmed the issue still occurs on opensuse tumbleweed.
Tumbleweed wasn't fully updated (packages updating now), however

(install was bionic, it's still bionic so no release-upgrade has occurred; I
