I'm still having this problem in Jaunty. Happens when SpiderOak (another Qt
app) is docked to the system tray.

A better fix would be to edit /usr/share/cgmail/service/notifier.py and on line
122 not only check for 'buttons', but also check if the notification system
supports buttons.
Temp fix is: comment out lines 122-125 and unindent line 126.

Today I tried banshee's daily build to see if this was fixed. Indeed,
banshee now uses the monochrome icon, but the grey background is still
present (unlike in other notification area-applications). I'm attaching
a screenshot.

For people looking for a solution: you can always install the banshee
indicator applet (as per instructions here

in.html). This way, you do not only get a nice looking icon; you also
now have banshee with the indicator applets.
I seem to have the same problem. This only occurs with the MSN protocol,
with people that are using a Mac OS X client (presumably iChat, but I
will try to verify this).

It would make sense to include folders in the results here. My reasoning
behind this is that a user will expect to be searching the 'files and
folders' that are visible when accessing the files&folders screen, just
like he is able to search the applications that are visible when
accessing the appli

bluetooth off via the menu, waiting 5 seconds, and turning it back on
again solves the issue for this login session. Clicking on the big "Turn
