this is the step:
1. Open System -> Network Proxy
2. Set Manual Proxy Config and set your http,ftp,https proxy
3. Now go to Tab Ignored Host, you will see localhost and 127.0.0.0/8 (as
default)

i'm only using shiny desktop switcher applet and yes installed using normal
ubuntu repos (intrepid beta)
btw the square only shown for some seconds and after that gone

After resuming from sleep.. my laptop sound not working and even cause
apps to hang... tried to restart alsa-utils, pulseaudio but no luck
my spec:
