This is triggered by the removal of some udev rules. These rules
however are plain wrong the correct fix is to add the correct acpi
MODALIAS to the floppy driver. This is being attacked as part of the
modprobe.d fixups. This will fix all machines using ACPI.

does hang in this way it is worth checking if you can switch to VT-1 and
back to X with (ctrl-alt-f1 ctrl-alt-f7, sometimes the backlight is left
turned of

I am running intrepid x86_64 with mozplugger 1.12.0 pulled in from the
jaunty repos.
It does not appear to be fixed in 1.12.0 and the lack of window
decorations make this problem annoying.
