Can confirmed the original issue has been fixed, iam now installing this

Did spot that it took ages to get past the Local area, I have gone

This is caused by the interaction between how we locate the installer
tarball and the fact we are cd'ing into a temporary directory. We can
simply detect that the path is not absolute and make it absolute using

There are two distinct changes in the patch attached in the previous
comments. The first removes the modprobes for ipv6, the second changes
the default route specifier.
Taking the second one first, it is not at all clear that this is the
right thing to do? Also though IANA is only giving out add
Ok have put together a debdiff based on the original diagnosis. It
basically ignores the exit from the modprobe as that should work
reasonably well with and without ipv6 builtin to the kernel.
I have built and tested .debs from this and they seem to work.

[i915GM] MTRR entry gets removed when restarting xorg - causes corruption on

It appears that the i915 family driver used to insert the mtrr in older
kernels and returns in the latest drivers in the 2.6.30-rc series. It
appears that the current driver only inserts the mtrr when GEM is being
used. Had a go at backporting the fix for this from upstream. I have
built kernels
@Kresimir -- this fix will not help your case as the MTRR handling is
driver specific. As this fix for this bug is driver specific, we should
get a new bug filed for yours and add a link to this one.
