hello, see others have similar problems anyway: desktop remix 9.10 clean
install on dell mini 1011 managed to get wirless up.
The problem is bluetooth disabled. i checked bios and its enabled also

My controls wouldn't show up in full screen either (Karmic with VLC
1.0.3 or any other version). It has nothing to do with drivers, compiz
(I use it) or anything like that in my case I think, as I just deleted
my config files (vlc-qt-interface and vlcrc) and now my controls appear.

sometimes crashes and gets me back to the kdm login screen.It hasn't
been so before.
